FAQ: Workshops, Counselling & Relationship Therapy with Natasha

1. Who can join the workshops?
Everyone is welcome—whether you’re single or in a relationship. I offer a range of workshops tailored to different needs.

2. What types of workshops do you offer?
I offer workshops for couples and individuals that focus on communication, understanding each other better, managing conflicts, and building deeper connections.

3. I’m single — can I still join?
Absolutely! My individual workshops help you better understand yourself and build healthier relationships. Couples are also welcome.

4. What is 1-on-1 counselling/therapy work?
One-on-one counselling/therapy is a safe, private space to explore what’s on your mind with someone who listens and supports you without judgment.

5. Do you offer counselling/therapy for couples too?
Yes, I work with couples to improve communication, resolve challenges, and rebuild trust and closeness.

6. How do sessions happen?
Sessions are available in person, over Zoom, or by phone (individuals only)—whatever feels most comfortable for you.

7. How long are the sessions or workshops?
Most individual and couples' sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes, providing quality time to make meaningful progress while leaving space for the rest of life!

We agree on the duration of each session when we book it to ensure it works best for both of us. If you require a shorter or longer session, we can look at adjusting the time to suit your unique needs.

For workshops, the duration varies depending on the format and content, with specific times listed on the particular workshop listing information and the event calendar.

8. How do I book a session or sign up for a workshop?
Simply reach out via call/text, email, or use the contact options here on the website, and I’ll guide you through the next steps.

9. Is everything confidential?
Yes. In our workshop spaces, we all agree to honour the confidentiality of everyone present—what’s shared here stays here. You’ll also see a note below about how confidentiality works in 1-on-1 work.

10. I value my privacy and don’t like public events. Is there an option for me?
Absolutely! You can opt for private one-on-one counselling/therapy sessions tailored to your preferences.

11. I’d like something more tailored to my needs—can you help with that?
Of course. I’ll listen to your specific needs and we'll create a customised plan that works for both of us.

12. I’m not sure if counselling/therapy is right for my situation. What should I do?
That’s okay! I offer an initial consultation session to explore your needs and how we can best work together. This session is charged at the standard hourly rate and is stand-alone, we decide together if we're a good fit to continue working together.

Counselling/Therapy Support Process and FAQs

13. What is a counselling/therapy support process?
This is a confidential space where you can explore challenges and work through issues with an experienced professional who is focused on your well-being.

14. How can it benefit me?
You can gain fresh perspectives, better self-understanding, improved relationships, increased confidence, and reduced emotional burdens.

15. What should I look for in a practitioner?
It’s essential to feel comfortable and build trust with your practitioner. Finding the right fit may take a few sessions.

16. How can I prepare for sessions?
Think about what brought you here and what changes you hope to see, but it’s okay if you’re unsure. We will work together to help clarify your goals, over time.

17. How can I get the most from our work together?
Be open and engaged. Set clear goals when you’re ready, and make time before and after sessions to prepare and reflect.

18. How often & how long are sessions?
Sessions typically occur weekly or every other week and last about an hour (or between 60-90 minutes for couples), allowing steady progress and meaningful engagement. We discuss what duration is best for you when we book the session and shorter/longer sessions can be arranged around your unique schedule.

19. How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your unique situation, budget, and goals. We’ll adjust as needed.

20. What about confidentiality?
I take your privacy seriously. Everything shared stays between us aside from standard exceptions.

It's important to mention that there are some general exceptions to confidentiality true for all helping professionals.

I prioritise regular Supervision to ensure that I support you optimally and am visible and accountable in my work. It is also possible that I may need to talk about you if I am concerned that you are at risk of hurting yourself or others, or if I am referring you to another health professional or if I am legally obligated to do so.

I always respect that we are having a private conversation when we meet.

21. Someone suggested I seek help — what now?
Take this as a sign someone cares about you. While the decision is yours, I’m here to help you explore if this support feels right for you.

22. How do I refer someone else?
Feel free to connect with me if you’d like to refer someone, but ultimately, they decide whether to engage after initial sessions, and what they share in session is confidential to them.

23. Do I need to tell others about my sessions?
It’s entirely your choice—share or keep your sessions private as you feel comfortable.

24. Who can benefit from this service?
Anyone willing and able to engage can benefit, regardless of age, background, or life experience—noting that I work with adults only, from age 18 to 108.

25. How do I ‘try it out’?
If you're unsure, you can arrange an initial session to see if my approach suits you. This is charged at the regular hourly rate and helps us explore your needs together as a team.

26. How can I learn about your approach?
Feel free to visit the About Me page or contact me directly for more details.
